Welcome to the homepage of the artist Koloman Moser!
Koloman (Kolo) Moser is one of the famous artists from the art nouveau and co-founder of the Viennese Secession in the year 1897. His art style has a significant influence on the Viennese Secession. Together with Josef Hoffmann and the banker Fritz Wärndorfer he founded in 1903 the so called “Wiener Werkstätte” (Vienna Workshop). The aim of the “Wiener Werkstätte” was to support arts and crafts. Koloman Moser was multi-talented. He designed ceramics and porcelain, metal and glass works for ex. the glass-tessellation of the windows of the Church on the “Steinhof” in Vienna. Moser is also well known for his designs for jewelry, furniture and textiles.
